Netflix has shared new footage for the second season of the One Piece live-action adaptation. An entertaining behind-the-scenes video was released, hosted by Jeff Ward, who plays the role of Clown Buggy. The digital content giant has given a glimpse of the adventures that await in the second season.

The video, released by Netflix, showcases the set in South Africa. It hints that the journey of the pirates will grow even larger, with iconic locations like Loguetown, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island set to appear in the second season.
In the second season, fan-favorite characters from the manga, such as Smoker, Tashigi, and Nefertari Vivi, will make an appearance. Callum Kerr, Julia Rehwald, and Sendhil Ramamurthy have joined the cast, playing Smoker, Tashigi, and Nefertari Cobra, respectively.
Netflix also announced new cast members for the upcoming season. Among them are David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3 and Clive Russell as Crocus. Other new cast members include Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, and Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9.
Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar will reprise their beloved roles, indicating that both the cast and story are set to expand.
Netflix has confirmed that the second season will consist of eight episodes. While an official release date hasn’t been announced, Netflix is planning to launch the second season in 2025.
